Ingredients
2 medium Rutabagas (~24 oz each)
1/4 cup Avocado oil
1 tsp Sea salt
1/4 tsp Black pepper
Preparation
Preheat the Oven:
Set your oven to 400°F (204°C).
Prepare the Rutabagas:
Peel the rutabagas.
Slice them into circles, approximately 1/4-inch thick.
Stack the circles and slice them into sticks, also about 1/4-inch wide.
Toss with Seasonings:
In a large bowl, toss the rutabaga sticks with the following ingredients:
Avocado oil
Sea salt
Black pepper
Arrange on an Oven-Safe Rack:
Place an oven-safe rack onto a large baking sheet.
Arrange the seasoned rutabaga fries in a single layer on the rack.
Bake until Crispy:
Bake for approximately 35-45 minutes, until the fries are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Serving size: ~10 fries, or 1/8 of entire recipe
