About the Recipe
Ingredients
6 oz Cream cheese (softened)
1/4 cup Full-fat Greek yogurt
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
2 tbsp Fresh dill (chopped; plus more for garnish)
1 large English cucumber (sliced slightly diagonally, 1/4 inch thick)
4 oz Smoked salmon (sliced thinly and cut into pieces)
Preparation
Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture:
In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and garlic powder. Mash them together until well blended.
Transfer to a Piping Bag:
Transfer the cream cheese mixture into a piping bag. If you don’t have one, you can easily make your own by snipping the corner of a ziplock bag.
Arrange the Cucumber Slices:
Lay out the cucumber slices in a single layer on a platter.
Pipe the Cream Cheese Mixture:
Pipe approximately 1/2 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto each cucumber slice.
Add Smoked Salmon:
Top each cucumber slice with a folded-over piece of smoked salmon.
Garnish and Serve:
If desired, garnish with additional dill.
The serving size is 4 cucumber bites, or approximately 1/10 of the entire recipe.
Keep in mind that the number of bites may vary depending on the size of the cucumber you use. For reference, I got 40 full-sized slices with mine.
